The definitive 2022 Bandcamp release of our 2004 album.

Just Dreams had been our last "old school" production, ie. it never came anywhere near a DAW, dongle or database. Instead its audio was captured and mixed on a digital multi-track recorder while all synths and samplers quite happily reported to a sequencer via MIDI.
Our then brand-new Korg Triton Le workstation keyboard handled much of the heavy lifting and thereby stamped its inspiring authority all over this album. I don't get paid for saying so, but if ever there was a hardware synth that could truly gobsmack its unsuspecting owner, this one must come pretty close.

While the 2022 re-mastering process was thus largely limited to attacking the original stereo master, the results still paid off. Even to the point where a previously unfinished song (Words) could receive enough of a jump start to make the cut this time around. Gratifyingly so, from my POV at least, especially since none of the original songs were culled in its stead. Some did however submit to surrendering a little - and in one case, a lot - of their erstwhile frippery, or ambition as it was called then. No one complained.

And then as now, this album also stands guard in memory of my father. He was our rock that faced the waves. Deafened by his roar - we never saw the fog. And sadly, it seems, some of us never will.
